A LOOK AT THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS

Before I tell your story, here’s a little bit of mine:

I’m Summer! Fun fact: my parents named me that because they found out I was a girl on June 21st. My middle name, Dawn, is after my grandma. She’s also the person I credit for both my sense of humor and love of proper grammar ;)

I’m a follower of Jesus, mom, and wife to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Dylan (who you might meet if you decide to book me; he’s my built in second shooter)! I’m a big fan of creating stuff that matters and leaving spaces better than I found them, probably with a vanilla oat milk latte in hand.

My videography journey formally began during my time in Colorado Mesa University’s Mass Communication program, but as I look back on my life it’s easy to see there was a filmmaker in me all along. Feel free to ask me about my middle school rendition of The Hunger Games that I directed, filmed, and starred in (as Katniss!).

When I’m not filming or editing, you can probably find me studying or writing an essay (I’m working on a master’s degree in Spiritual Formation), playing with my baby boy Jude, reading a good book, serving at church, listening to Taylor Swift, or getting another tattoo. I’m based in Grand Junction, Colorado, but I’ll travel to wherever you are!
